its really not about the rules. rules im ok with, its about attitude of reviewers, rules being applied differently (xstraight guy makes my point, he has no problems getting listed with a string of nl sites when i and other people i know do). its about them making rules up as they go along. ive had sites not listed because a banner ad was too bright, i mean ffs.

if they could just be honest about why theyre not listing a site id be fine. ive had a cyberage site refused point blank because "it looks like a similar design to one linked with fraud". could they find me the site to compare it with? what do you think. dave even apoliagised and agreed to list the site, i agreed to list a new site (id given that one to pa by then) but only if he reviewed it first. "of course he would" he said. when i pmed him the site, i never heard back. that after him offering to "work with me" to get my sites listed (not that the orgional site broke a single rule in the first place).

daves a nice guy, ive worked closely with him in the past, but as a company their a heap of shit imo - unless your one of the favoured of course.

Just communicate directly with Robs. He is the ONLY reviewer working for UGAS. I ocassionally have to make changes that he requests but he will often listen to my reasons for thing being the way they are. I think any AVS will work with webmasters that they trust and make minor exceptions, etc. And it it has nothing to do with kissing their ass.

And btw Marc... I see you often referring to sites that are listed on AVS-A and not listed on AVS-B. Why not mirror all of your sites and list them on every productive AVS you can find? I do have a few sites that are exclusive to a particular AVS (movies AENs) but for the most part, I mirror all of the others on at least Mancheck and UGAS.

with ugas, i think its time to move on. why bang your head against a wall over and over. remember for me this has been going on for years - i submitted to ugas often before i took my porn break. its honestly not that i cant be bothered to try to work with them, its just that ive been trying for years and finally given up.

With the latter point your right! i tend to mirror if im after upsales to sponsors, if im after selling the avs i tend to keep it exclusive. I should really try to do both on all sites. need to be abit more organised i guess .

i think my avs sales are going to be focussed on gmp from now on, i pay heavy bank fees to get checks cashed so may aswell concentrate on one source, plus i find them a joy to work for and the money is better too.
