When it comes down to picking a PPV theater, how to you choose?

I’m looking at a few (and welcome all spam to have more options) and I can see reasons to join one based on titles, but another one based on packages and yet another based on the DIY\BYOT tools.

Should I stick with titles because it’s where people are going to pull out the card or should I also side with the payout levels and tools for custom design?

And again: Spam me with PPV programs!

we feed our content to a lot of sites (maybe 7 or 8?) - don't know for sure - Cam keeps track of all of that stuff

AEBN is at the top of our list - they've always been super and right on top of promoting us - we do well when we're promoted

- we also like Movie Dollars - they did an interview with us that they broadcast when we first went live - there market share is growing steadily

We also use several others: PPV Networks, Xtube, Older4Me, XonDemand (gosh, I'm giving away our secrets which btw - NOBODY would share with us when we started...)

we just signed on with TLA and are among the first bareback content providers to feed them content - they've been great

all totaled, the checks are worth the investment in time we take to prepare our content for shipment - ask Chris Baker what WE do when we submit content - he'll tell you we're good

If you have to pick one, I'd go with NakedSword/AEBN as they have the largest catalog of content available. They have the top gay studios like Falcon, Colt, Titan and lots of smaller niche studios as well.

Think less about the % and more about the total dollars. Others may offer you a higher %, but the total dollars will be less. You can't take %'s to the bank!

We are heavily committed to hotmovies, as we were able to integrate them into our stores to a level where we could seamlessly pay out our affiliates on all minutes bought at the same percentages as toys. So if someone bought 100 minutes, it just kicked them out of the theater and put their hundred minutes into the shopping cart right next to the cock rings and butt plugs.
They may not have the most gay content, but being able to pay affiliates is valuable.

There are only a small handful of studios large enough to make special exclusivity deals with VOD providers. Otherwise, go for as much exposure as you can. Some will pay better than others, but every bit helps.

The real trick to making money in VOD is the ability to keep putting out new titles. Just like Blockbuster, the customers go right to New Releases first.

for studios I agree with you.

but for webmasters I would say promote the vod provider that has a lot of movies and fresh titles that convert well with your traffic, meaning helping you to create custom landing pages and target your traffic, by reviewing your referring log files you can provide targeted niche landing pages...
