Well said, Chip. Plus, when a model has worked with someone who has made it clear that "getting fluffed" is expected, they'll often assume that they are expected to engage in that kind of activity no matter where they go. So if they request it, it may simply be because they think it's the only way they'll get asked back or make more money. I won't tell anyone else how to run their business but I would never mess around with one of our models.

And before I get any smart ass remarks, it could happen!

On a lighter note, I was helping out with a shoot once and one of our models asked me, in a very cheeky way, if I was getting turned on. I thought, now how do I answer that? If I say yes I would feel unprofessional and if I said no I might hurt his feelings. I finally had to level with him and tell him the truth, when I'm holding a lighting rig or a camera and trying to make sure the shot is just right, it really isn't sexy for me. It's really just technical.
