Not to be a troll or anything, but ... a bunch of :jerkoff:s, is what I think of that - am I the only one sick of these "studies".

They ever stop to think that it could be something as simple and pure as one's "preference".
It sadly seems a person, now a days, cannot make a choice with out it being analyzed.

No! I am not trying to be difficult (it just happens). I am simply confused as to why it is everybody feels, and believes, they MUST KNOW what makes people tick.

Does one really need to find a reason, or excuse, for what they've become or are?

To the "researchers" I suggest doing studies on why some chose to succumb to what others think they should be - people waiting for others to tell them who they are to be and how to get there.

Or maybe I should act like all the other clones (of society), because being different is apparently a sickness, mental illness or disease, which needs to be dissected and researched so to find a cure.

No! It is not to help THEM understand.
It's to help them be at ease by knowing THEY are not responsible for the "error" - they are not at fault for your/our defects.

But that is just how I look at those studies.

If anything, these little "studies" tell me I am not doing "things" correctly.
Oh yah, I have:
-three older brothers
-one older twin
-one older sister
...and was:
-fatherless for a decade
-raised by mom & sis

So, what is my illness?
Oh, yah ... THAT must be why I smoke cheeba; love the cold and hate the heat; love the gr8 outdoors & telemarking (the least popular choice of skiing).
