Lee, I thought you weren't going to post on this thread anymore. Hmmmmm??? <wink wink>

Just today, I was copied on an email sent from one very prominent adult director to one of his former models, who is now doing bareback videos. The director proceeded to rip this model a new one, calling him all sorts of names (such as a "duplicitous sack of garbage") and making himself look bad in the process. I sent him back a very polite but also pointed email telling him that in no way do I feel it was my business to read such an email. I said, "regardless of your beef with this model, airing your dirty laundry in public says an awful lot more about your character than it does about his."

I just do not understand why people in this business feel the need to participate in this kind of ridiculously childish behavior. And the excuse of "yeah, I should have done this in private, but it wasn't started in private" just does not jive with me. You owe it to yourself -- and to your company's reputation -- to rise above the actions of others and conduct yourself in the most professional manner that you can. Stooping to someone else's level just to make a point really only makes you look like an ass.

Oh... P.S. Lee, this was not directed toward you at all, for the record. I hope you got that.
