I love to do my happy dance for Paco he's unique, kind and cuddly :bunny:
, i'm in the process of converting vinyl to digital now for just that purpose! , unfortunately vinyl cannot be "high-speed" dubbed (not that i am aware of , though i've been curious as to what would happen if i recorded on 45 - 78 rpm and then reduced the speed on the computer back to 33 rpm's ) so i actually have to sit through the 8 - 10 minute singles in "realtime"

longboardjim, that usb turntable boasts that it has a setting where you can do just that and the software that comes with it will reduce the signal back to the proper one, but I would think it would cause a serious degredation in sound quality.
I paid a service to do a bunch of my records to mp3, they charged me $50, which I thought was a great price, and the sound quality was for shit. I was so upset. Luckily they gave me my money back but it was unreal how bad the sound was. And to top it off when I talked to the customer service guy he could tell what was wrong with it. He said the tracks sounded fine. He even did four different EQ jobs and sent me the raw file and they all sounded like someone had taped them with a hand held dictophone from across the room. It was awful.

Stop it, before I squirt!
Hey! Isn't "unique" another way of *circling ear with finger* cray_zay ... nutzo ... 1 gram shy of a full ounce (that'd be 27) ... twisted ... closed for biddiness ... <-- that ?
that is due to the fact that you were not with me.
Add Paco to the equation and you can kiss the "close to" & almost good-bye!
They never leave me alone! Even when I am relieving myself (pee'in') I get arrested. Most likely because they noticed my earring.
I should take that thing out before I whip that thing out, the next time I decide to give their cruiser a golden shower!
I am SO misunderstood I feel :french:
sounds like they used a cable between the "headphone" jack and the computer line in (concert hall echo) sofar i am using a cable between the "tape out" from a stereo reciever to the "line in" of a computer , this works well with "club singles" but i have to use an amplifier for the atypical "album" which always seems to be recorded at a lower volume , the computer program i am using to "filter" (snap/crackle/pop) is "dartpro" though i'm sure there's better software out there. (it doesn't have to be better , it just has to work!)

I don't know about LOVE .. but Paco makes my socks go up and down.
