Thanks everyone. Im going to re add those two gallerys i think. Any more comments would be great. Ill then make changes and see what you think.

I went through the other sites that use this template to make some changes, some had white text on a light background. School boy error. No wonder the little darling surfers wernt clicking!

Im really greatfull for everyones feedback, cant see anything i disagree with either so thanks. Oh apart from the size of full sized pics, nothing i can do about that im afraid, i recognise the point as valid but i didnt size the pics.

2. The size of the pictures would be too small for many of those linklists. The latest rule by Link-o-rama is that the sum of height and width should be at least 1200 pixels... while other LL's didn't change their rules yet, many reviewers prefer larger images than the ones you have there.

His full-size pictures are 768x1024. Are you talking about his thumbs? Do they need to be bigger? I'm confused.

Haha! I know that. I just wanted some clarification on what tigermom was talking about because she couldn't have meant your full-size pics either.

Actually the worst exaple of thumbs i ever saw was someone who resized the big picture with html

I see you closed access to your main directory but why not create a quick index file?

I would think you could create an index and an index2.

Index – Warning page with exit

Index2 – (If you plan to start building free sites) Like a tgp – submit your own galleries to your own tgp, or more so, tgp-ish looking page.

Now I’m not sure the rules to the affiliate programs you belong to but… Doing this could turn a site you don’t use for more than a folder into something that you could submit to search engines.


With a page like this you could have links via photos, banners (large and small) and text. Your current, unused site could start working for you.

But,

You may also have other plans for the directory and domain name other that building a hub for the sites you promote.

Yeah that sounds like a good plan. Either that or use the domain for a premium avs. I tend to do standard as and per sign up but i need to get some rebills in a grow my income a bit.

Im actually going to stop and take stock abit. See which direction i want to go in, this review is the first step really in growing my business, making the sites better to increase sales. Ive looked inside Boy Funk and like it, i hope it will retain and convert which would be a great first step for me.
