It is. I tried tons of different font colors against that background, but none of them work in all areas. I'm battling with it. I can't stand solid, plain backgrounds, and so far, I've gotten TONS of comments on the cartoon BG I'm using. I'm just trying to figure out how to make the text more readable. I suppose I could fill in the boxes so that it is solid behind the text. I'll play around with it some more when I have some time again.
