Have you seen the price of the tickets??? $100 for cattle-call open seating and $200 for "VIP tickets"! Oh, and if you want "reserved seating" you have to buy a block of 12 reserved seats for $2000.

We went from a free industry event to what appears to be an elaborate and expensive event. While we and other big studios can pay these prices, I don't think it's fair to the rest of the people or performers in the industry.

I know several people that were excited to finally have the awards here in SF and wanted to attend. But, as soon as they saw the ticket prices there is no way they can afford them.

I just wish we had not gone so high-end so qucikly. I love Kathy Griffen, but she's not worth $50,000 for the night! I'd be quite happy with ChiChi for free and letting more people be able to attend.
