What is the procedure used for a habitual violator??

What happens to a company that has stolen content and several complaints? I hope the answer is not "Send a DMCA and we will notify the owner and ask them to take it down"

At some point I would expect CC Bill and every reputable billing company to drop a serial pirate, but what is that point???

chad, we follow the DMCA, as an attorney, you know the provision in the DMCA for repeat offenders...we open ourselves up to liability if we dont follow the DMCA

i guess the first question here would be whether this is a repeat offender (have there been any dmca notices sent to us about this client?), from this thread it appears as if this step has not been done.

We're in the process of putting a formal complaint together now. And hoping this thread will get some other producers to do the same so we can make some sort of an impact. My apologies if my posts seem a bit harsh, but when we called about this we felt we were met with an attitude that there was not much that could be done.

And considering that sexymendirectory.net is still up after several complaints, it makes me wonder how many DMCA's need to be sent before sites like these get pulled. I will say that when we had our issue with them in the past, they were finally made to pull our content from their site. Which was great until they just went and got more. How's that for irony, they're made to take down the old content of ours that they stole, and for all their troubles they get to add new stolen content. So, we'll go ahead and send in those DMCA's and see what happens. And I encourage anyone else here who is having the same issue to do the same.

And special thanks to Chad for taking a stand in this, as well.
