I LOVE my XV6700! Ditto to everything Steven says. I can pretty much run my biz from this phone if I have to. Shoot content with the cam, upload through FTP, log on through SSH, etc. I've even got a guitar tuner installed. It slides open to reveal a nice size keyboard, much better then the PALM buttons, which IMO are WAY to small when you've got thumbs like mine.

$600 seems like a lot for a phone, but it's a lot more then a phone. I haven't checked out the iphone yet, but it seems to me the XV6700 has many of the same features. WiFi, Bluetooth, touchscreen, etc.

I know that Cingular and Sprint also have pretty much the same phone available under a different name.

but i spend time writing when i'm not here - sometimes several hours. i can't imagine trying to do that all on a thumb board, and besides - phone pda's don't have the beefiest batteries. i don't want to eat into my phone time while writing or lose my data bcause the phone rang.

i'd like to thank becky for selling me her PDA and look forward to it arriving
