I have read the news stories and they keep mentioning the "$500,000 house" or the "$571,000 house" and then stating that Cuadra lived an extravagant life. I also saw pictures of the house -- it did not look extravagant. I would say more like a nice middle class house. Is $571,000 extravagant for that part of Virginia? In many parts of California that amount of money would only buy a 3 bedroom fixer-upper or a small condo. It wouldn't even buy a 2 bedroom condo in the new building going up across from the Tempe hotel where the Phoenix Forum is held.
Is it me or are the parts of the story about the "extravagant lifestyle" just media drama??
