I guess it depends on what your ultimate goals are.
We concentrate just on the Fratmen brand. We have Fratmen.com where we sell the DVDs, Fratmen.TV which is the on-line version and Fratpad.com where the guys live and do live shows all day.
We take the content we shoot and use it in lots of different places.. we have a feed, we're getting into hotels and cable pay-per-view, we have our stuff in VOD theaters, we have DVDs in stores, greeting cards, posters, calendars, fridge magnets and beanie caps. I'm looking into a line of Fratmen altar candles.
There's a lot of ways of making money off original content, so if you're into producing (good) original content... focusing just onone brand probably makes sense.
If you're not a content producer and don't plan on making money off your content for years to come... it probably makes more sense to have 25 different sites to reach as many people as possible.
