Some reader sent it. He thought it would interest me enough to write about it. I'm not gonna give you his email address.
But I did check out the sites listed by the OP. My first thought was, "So much for DRM". LOL
Look I gotta ask this: is this REALLY cutting into your profits? I mean, is it that serious or you like Microsoft screaming about pirated copies of Windows? For that matter, how many of you use illegal software?
All I'm saying is, wasting your time and money to go after these guys isn't gonna solve your problem. It'll just make it worse.
Do I know a perfect solution? Not yet. But I'm thinking about it.
Yes, in fact, it is. I've had members drop their memberships and tell me that they can't really justify paying for a site when "it's availalbe for free on Blogspot." If even two people tell me that - and it's been more than 2, I might add - you know you have a problem.
Not us. We buy all our software, and we use a lot of it. So much so that Apple called us and offered us specail pricing, in fact.I mean, is it that serious or you like Microsoft screaming about pirated copies of Windows? For that matter, how many of you use illegal software?
OK.. we'll just sit back and let people steal from us. Hey.. when someone breaks into your house, I hope you don't call the police... it's just going to make the thives mad.All I'm saying is, wasting your time and money to go after these guys isn't gonna solve your problem. It'll just make it worse.
I can't wait to hear what you come up with.Do I know a perfect solution? Not yet. But I'm thinking about it.
In the mean time, I think I might start a blog where I just post whatever I feel like ranting about and hope that the pirates.. sorry.. "bloggers" send me weepy messages about how they're not allowed to rip us off.
Then I'll know where to send my lawyers.

Well... check it back.. We'll keep checking his blog to see, but it seems that all the content is finally down.

Now you just have to worry about the worlds largest torrent site launching a YouTube type service...

This is a maddening conversation - you dont know HOW many times I have contacted these blog punks, inviting them to join our affiliate program. Only to have my letter published on the front page - aong with a statement about keeping the "internet free" - and then having to spend the next 48 hours defending against DNS attacks.
The ONLY way to stop this is for a few of the big guys to press a lawsuit against blogspot itself. I love google, but they need to stop promoting piracy!
