Hi All,
I just talked to the woman who's now running Harlow's estate in his absence. Most notably she's not from the adult industry, marketing, or online marketing. She doesn't know porn, but she's trying her best to run boybatter.com right, and doing all she can to raise their traffic and memberships.
Her initial quests for help from other gay industry people have been negative, so she's feeling a bit unwelcome. I suggested that she look for help here on GWW. She's learning, and it looks like succeeding in keeping boybatter up and actually increasing the traffic and membership.
If she takes my advice and shows up on the board, I was hoping that she might get a bit of support. If you think about it, it's a pretty crazy situation. If it were a made-for-tv movie this would be the quick description "When her friend is thrown in jail, one woman must fight against all odds to become a successful gay pornographer in order to get him out."

I can see how it's possible that Harlow arrived after the murder and used the initial alibi in fear of being wrongly accused. Maybe even their recorded conversations in CA was just them taking credit for something they didn't really do. But it's very difficult to explain away Bryan's video camera being found in their home. That for me nails the lid shut.

That is a very hard fact to explain away. If I went into house, saw a dead guy on the couch and smelled smoke, I would not grab the video camera and run out. And then keep the camera.:curtain:

well and... keep in mind that Joe and Harlow have hardly seen each other since May when they were arrested. A few hours in the police cruiser together while being transported from VA to PA, an hour here or there while in the holding cells awaiting their various court appearances.

Note that Harlow hasn't said a word other than proclaiming his innocence and saying that Brent "did what he felt he had to do." While Joe is the one offering up the detailed account of what happened.

It's very possible that Joe is selling Harlow out 100% to try to save his own ass, and what Joe's now saying is completely untrue. (This is not to say that the previous story, that they were in Virginia Beach, with a prostitution customer to serve as their alibi, was truth either.)

The sad thing is, we may *never* know exactly what happened. The cases for Joe and Harlow are separate, so it's possible, and likely, that their defense counsels may encourage one to turn on the other, and one or both may plead out. I also would not be at all surprised to see Sean or Grant or both to be charged with something (at the very least, accessory after the fact, given the alleged "I guess my guy went overboard" comment.) Some sources say that the immunity granted isn't universal, and that would definitely be an interesting development.

But I hope when it's all over, there are some answers that make at least some sense.
