Since you are of the opinion that the DA is a racist why did the BLACK Attorney General appeal a lower courts ruling on this case during the kids appeal. If you read the Ga Supremes rulling they never said he was inncocent or that the DA, the local judge nor the jury did anything wrong. I guess the blacks on the jury must have thought they were white when they convicted him.
It's so easy to make statements when you don't know the facts. We all should be used to it being in the adult video business by now.

Actually rdynow I do know something about the case it has been extensively covered in the LA Times. I am sorry to ruffle your feathers about southern injustice but that is the way its always been something about Law & Order and maintaing the Rule of Law ABOVE all else and against all common sense!

Since you know about the case. You know who pushed for prosecution, the mother of the girl. She tried to back out after she found out the sentence when he was convicted. Since you know all about the case you know he also had intercourse with her when she was semi-comatose and could have been charged with rape. Since you know about this case you know he was offered a plea agreement and he refused since he would have to register as a sex offender. He was convicted and still has to register.
This doesn’t ruffle my feathers at all. Everyone here makes comments about facts they know nothing about.
This law was on the books long before this kid was charged. It was not passed to prosecute kids it was passed to put child molesters away. Granted it could have been worded better where kids would not be charged this way.
Right now there is a push to have the DA prosecuted for passing out a copy of the tape, under the law, as child porn. I don’t know if he is protected by law or not on this since it is evidence. I guess when pushing a DA you get the worst to come out. He’s now looking at charging the video makers as making child porn. This could land several others in jail.
All justice, not just in the south, is in favor of the rich. You pay for the defense you get.
I could care less about murders, they deserve the death sentence.

I have never received a jury summons since! Wonder why?
