I do NOT prepare taxes anymore, but the biggest most importantest :-) thing to do is have a separate checking account for business expenses. Even if it is in your own personal name and you have to write checks from one account to the other, KEEP A SEPARATE BUSINESS ACCOUNT.



That being said, don't forget software purchases, domain purchases, memberships to competitors websites, VISA fees, bank fees.
