    The Boards

The boards....its a funny place to be and post comments and network. Many webmasters and producers join these boards some are active on the boards and others just like to read the post and some are like me, we read the posts and sometimes we participate. I think its a great place to network and keep in-touch with many in our industry and community.

I consider myself a viewer of these boards and I'm not taking any sides which board is better or which board has less drama or more drama and how the boards should me moderated and run. Dealing with hundreds of people that participate on these boards, every person will have different opinions. I enjoy reading these posts and reading the responses on many of the posts that interest me the most. Some post are just "stupid" some are "fun" and some of the posts are very informative. These boards are good in getting information out to webmaster and producers from all over the world. Posts that inform us about fraudulent activity, advice about models and filming, what type of equipment to use when filming, lighting issues, computer issues, about processing companies and all kinds of ideas and thoughts can be found to be very interesting to read on both GMS & GWW boards. Both boards are similair and many of the members you see on the GWW belong to the GMS board and vice versa.

What I have noticed on both boards is that the same people go on each of the boards and some create drama and state things that just make them look like hypocrates or start drama and make unnessecary comments and I think that is what starts the drama. My question is don't you guys work? Don't you guys have a studio to run or website to promote? I am constantly busy dealing with model recruiting, filming, meeting deadlines, filming content for our sites, dealing with paperwork, keeping up with 2257 files...dealing with my staff, learning about technology, dealing with the demands of everyday business. Pershaps its me but I rather place my time an energy in making sure I'm running my business correctly then going on these boards and creating drama and getting involved with bad threads. I'm sure I will get bashed regarding my remarks but you guys need to know that both boards are a fun place to go and network with other producers, webmaster and learn from each other and not fight and create drama and "bad blood" amoungst each other.

Then what amazes me is that we all go to events like the phoenix forum and everyone is friendly to each other and have a great time and all is well and smiles again.

This is just my 2 cents.....$0.02

Squirt hit the nail on the head when he mentioned work "smarter". There is something called the Pareto Principle. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pareto_principle

Kinda goes like this - We spend 80% of our time making 20% of our income. It really applies to a lot of things in life.

I am sure that Intense Cash, who you film for, finds that it imples to even them. Example: I am sure BSB and CBP probably account for 80% of their sales and is probably 20% of their total sites.

I think some webmasters have recognized this principal and "work smarter" as Squirt pointed out. Thus we have time for boards.

Sorry to find that you don't have time for boards. They can actually be rather fun. I personally have met many friends, made good business, and just had fun. The hour that I have managed to make each day to spend on the boards has been well worth it.

As Squirt said, "work smarter." It REALLY makes your day much more fun and productive and gives you that extra hour to come on a board and do "your thing."

That is very true. However I can't ever remember going to a convention and having someone make references to what i say to their face and how their blubbercunt itches. Not sure, but they may get a smack in the face if they did.

Oh!! By the way...I spoke to Mark about the issues with the GMS board, I too believe some issues were getting out of hand. All in all, Mark is a great guy and he certainly doesn't want the GMS board be full of "drama" issues and we took steps to resolve these issues.

Both the IntenseCash team and the BluMedia Studios team will be in Phoenix in the next several weeks and we look forward to meeting everyone there.

IntenseCash is also proud to announce it is a premium sponsor of The Phoenix Forum. We are also having a party Friday night and you can get your chance to meet and hangout with Broke Straight Boys, get free dvd's of Broke Straight Boys volume 1 and 2, hangout with the crew, win prizes and much more. Come and hangout with the IntenseCash & BluMedia Studios crew. We look forward to seeing you there. Stay tuned for more details coming soon.

We are also proud to announce that Gay Main Street is an official media sponsor for The Phoenix Forum. We will be taking pictures and keeping up with all events and posting them on Gay Main Street.

In addition:IntenseCash just got a whole lot better. As of March 1, 2008 we are raising payouts for our per signup with consoles program from $30 per signup to $35.00 per signup permanently. We are also working on branding Broke Straight Boys more and more to help improve the already amazing conversions. We are going to have some Broke Straight Boys parties in various clubs in the US. We also have some new sites coming in March and some more exciting news so stay tuned.

So, weekend's about to start and I'm about out of here. So here's a last parting shot.
The same people exist on both boards! They just fluctuate back and forth. There are no separate communities.
Everything on GMS did seem to spiral out of control, but I think it started when certain parties started going off on this "All the drama should be censored" kick. Which is ridiculous, because those certain parties were creating "there's too much drama" drama. Ridiculous. Just because you call deleting drama threads "appropriate moderation" doesn't make it different from censoring.
I actually feel that much of JP's style is ridiculous, but when people start acting like whiny teenagers I don't think it inappropriate to sink to that level. These are web boards, one is expected to have a thick skin. Dang people, get outside every now and then. Politicians are lying to us, people are oppressing one another, and you're whining that some dude portrays himself in a clownish manner called you ridiculous names? What, he censored the guy on the board who kept whining that there wasn't enough censorship, I certainly can't see the irony in that?
Also, the whole "I'm never going there ever again because I'm so angry" thing, that's just lame. Has someone been injecting hormones into you juice boxes?
So I expect those who like to get riled up will get riled up, but people, could we all just chill out some and stop taking things so seriously. Except of course anyone getting hormones in their juice box. You need to find out who's doing that and stop them.
