On the other hand.... You have different fingers
Patti,
Don't bother arguing with DeWayne. He's convinced that simply because the Feds didn't go out and inspect and arrest Bryan at Cobra immediately after he (DeWayne) put in a complaint that nobody will ever enforce anything against producers working with underage models. Never mind the fact that the FBI is, in fact, investigating the issue according to reliable sources, and has been for several years.
Of course, reputable producers know that it's idiocy to not keep records and run a clean and legal operation... but if somebody wants to be stupid and try it... that's their choice.
I'm certain that Justice will eventually go after the producer with no records who was inspected last year, and I also know of another case (non-porn related) where the FBI investigated, executed search warrants, interviewed people... then silence... everyone thought the case had gone away... and then, more than 3 years later, charges were filed. The guy spent 5 years in jail.
HPP has, on another board, admitted not paying the model and apparently also admitted they shot scenes with him in the US, a clear violation of current 2257 regs. So that's pretty much a slam dunk for the Feds who, as we know, monitor the boards.
btw, I believe some of Dawgy's charges in the US stemmed from filming underage (teen) boys, so it's def not true that there has been no enforcement or convictions related to 2257.
