considering i work on content on mondays and tuesdays, like i told you when you ordered, (and that message was sent last wednesday and today is monday) then, no. i work on content mondays and tuesdays. i am on set shooting all day and most of the night wednesdays through sundays. as it were, in order to accomodate you, i had to work on these as i was filming, which means having to leave the set in the middle of a scene every 15 minutes and make sure the videos are rendering properly.

Let me just say that I think it is really bad form to post in a public message your bill collecting problems. Yes, we all want to get paid, but to just title a message pointing fingers that only cause rumors is inappropriate.

I mean, why not just post your entire accounts receivable on here while you're at it? Maybe I know your milkman, who's 60 days past due with you, too.

I could just as easily post fair sounding messages like "so Rocky, isn't it true that you beat your boyfriend?" ... or ... "hey my neighbor said that his daughter saw Rocky practicing witchcraft in a coven out in the forest last week, let's all on the message boards go light our torches and find some real justice."... cut to a Springfield Town Mob from the Simpsons rushing to Rocky's to "collect"

Trying to make the message forums a de facto credit rating agency is a bad idea.

You are omitting HUGE relevant parts of these conversations in order to conveniently paint yourself in a more favorable light. The facts are that I tried to reach you when I had issues putting the content on the mini-dv, but you were at the Phoenix Forum and I could not contact you.

The email you provided me bounced back.

You flew into a rage when you learned that I was putting the content on mini-dv, and, in fact, did not know what a mini-dv was until I explained it to you, and then flew into another rage when you learned that mini-dv was digital tape!

Come friday you will have your money returned to you. You are completely unprofessional, sir, and I am glad to wash my hands of you.

I don't like to get involved in other people's fights but I know it's really difficult when you make a deal based on what is promised on the website and then have the client change it all on you. You do your best to accommodate them but sometimes two people just can't reach a conclusion. I can see where Rocky's coming from, having promised content on Mini-DV and then busting his ass to convert all that content to DVD (which is no easy feat). Sure a month seems long if you're dealing with a company that has a full staff that does nothing but content, but when you are asking one person who basically runs his entire operation on his own for a huge special favor you have to give him some leeway. I can understand if you feel that you are not satisfied, but it's not really fair to call someone a scam artist when they've done you a special favor (which caused the delay you are complaining about) and then offered you some bonus content to make up for it.

I do think it's a shame to simply refund his money once all the work has been done. I think you guys should finish the transaction, and wipe your hands of the whole thing. 12Clicks, you'll get what you paid for, and Rocky, your work will not have been in vain. Then, once it's done it's done. Shake hands and agree not to work together anymore.

DonMike, he did me no favors. I told him to send my money back and he said he could do it on DVD data for me. at no time did he say, "gee, this will take a while" or "I'm not really equipped for it"
He said, "yeah, I can do that" I said fine.
however, he had already explained that he couldn't deliver on mini-dv either. If you can't deliver, do not sell. do not take money.
