I totally agree with Danny on this. Just for the heck of it I have bought some of my own pirated stuff on the beach to see what the quality was like.

It is not only porn, but all kinds of drugs are also easily available to those who want them. Even weapons of war get "lost" here.

Despite the smiles and the cute guys, other things are no so benign here. That was one of the reasons that triggered my initial question.

Might want to consider Cancun Mexico. I have a house here and love it. Crime is on the level of any large city but its nice and safe. We have Costco, Sams Walmart and plenty of chain places to eat for the times you just can not take another taco. Prices are good including gas, and its easy to be legal.

Well we have them all. Egg tacos. Fish tacos Beef or pork or chicken and even some things I would not come close to eating. Like cricket and other yucky stuff.

One thing I tell people before they move to a new country is to take a vacation and check it out. Spend at least a week someplace doing the things you would have to do if you lived there. Go shopping for food and clothes etc.
