In the last week I've watched two separate interviews with black gay porn stars. In both cases when asked about getting tested they said it was left to the model to get a test every three months and the impression given was that the studio and other performers then just believed whatever the model said about the result. Meanwhile the studios covered their ass in the contract by putting the responsibility on the models. Both models have done bareback scenes and one them has done many.

@longboardjim - in the west, AIDS does disproportionately affect gay men. I understand that in some US cities almost half of black gay men are HIV+.
