k, maybe I'm being naive or overly optimistic, but I'm willing to give a 19 year old kid (Sam) a break.

Sam fucked up. Badly. More than once. But near as I can tell, he's beginning to understand that the stuff he did in the past, which I won't enumerate, was foolish and (understandably) hurt his reputation with people in the industry, and I think he also knows his responses were at best extremely immature and at worst hurtful and angry.

I'm not trying to defend his actions -- I've never met him or had any business dealings with him -- I'm only pointing out that it seems like he's trying his best to say "OK, this sucks, I fucked up, I'm trying to move forward and make the best of it." So for the moment, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Sam, if it's not an option to dump the site, I would definitely have the model take down and destroy all of the questionable content, and give you a written statement that he's done so. You're not on the hook for it, as it was never connected to you, but it could come back to bite you at some point if it resurfaces and you're promoting his (now cleaner) solo site. A letter from him will give you at least some protection if somebody tries to make an association. It wouldn't hurt to change the stage name too, just to get a fresh start to the new image he's trying to portray.

But even more than that, I'd have a lengthy conversation with him about the legal issues, and the importance of legal compliance. If he's not in 100% agreement with you about the importance of following the law even if he doesn't agree with it, then no amount of money is worth moving forward, because he will cause you further problems in the future.

The people here are (for the most part) friendly and helpful. You've lashed out before in a pretty arrogant, angry way, and that will stay in people's memories for a while. So you just have to recognize that and not feed into it further... just move forward, listen, take the advice you're offered where it makes sense to do so, and practice humility. In time, if you show by your actions that you really have learned, people will come around in their thinking. Well, most of them will
