Anyone who is a potential subject in a criminal investigation should have an attorney present when talking with investigators, even when completely innocent. As a former prosecutor, I would not imply guilt simply because they want an attorney with them before being interviewed. There is nothing out of the ordinary with Sean and Brent's behavior.





Kocis did some very bad things in his life. His death does not change who he was. On this board I recall dawgy had his supporters and defenders, even after he admitted to the accusations against him and hundreds of kiddie porn images were found on his computer. The GFY standard of goodness vs. badness seems to be if a person was fun to party with, but I reserve the right to judge someone on all their actions and particularly how they dealt with cleaning up their own messes. Some learn from their mistakes and change behavior, others seem to prefer to learn how to not get caught. In my limited dealings with Kocis, he fell into the latter category.

Kocis may have helped some people make a lot of money but he was certainly not "one of us" and if he were alive he would probably agree. Kocis made porn but he was not a member of the adult entertainment community.

No doubt there are a vein of producers/webmasters amongst us who are criminals and support eachother in predatory and illegal practices. No dramas, no need to be paranoid, these people are in every facet of society, not just porn. Choose wisely who you do business with.
