Max just doesn't seem to understand the concept that companies are allowed to change their business models and make adjustments in their own self interests. He seems to think that when someone gets screwed in a deal - such as himself - the changes were implemented for the sole sake of screwing people over.

JUB has every right to look out for themselves and look out for the experience of their surfers. If they want to exert greater control over the kind of sites THEY list on THEIR directory, by all means they have every right to do just that.

It does them no good to subject their surfers to the same old templates everyone's seen before, misleading links, popups, viruses and the like. It does no good to their directory to have it bursting at the seams with sites no one will want to see or visit. If they have crap sites listed in their directory, regardless of whatever recip traffic they might generate, that hurts their legitimacy in the eyes of their surfers and renders their directory useless.

I think you have to face the fact, Max, that not every company out there has a business model that constitutes doing you - or anyone else, for that matter - favors.
