Mostly I think ignorance has a part to do with it though, I mean one of my friends is this little 20 year old twink, got held up in the parking lot... he was walking alone.. come on..common sense here, walk out of the bar with someone.

I agree about the awful attitude that people have around here. It is really a shame that so many people in Dallas are so self absorbed. Its part of the city, and if you can sit down and just look at it, it is really quiet laughable. And as I have said before to you on PM, I believe, if you would like to hang out, or have lunch or something, I would love to do that
I live in near-north Dallas... 635 & 35... just on the other side of the freeway from Farmer's Branch. It's a little development of zero-lot homes... probably about 50% gay. I call it little San Francisco. Lol. We've had a rash of break-ins and burglaries the past couple of months. The association has been debating whether to put in gates or not. The only problem is that we then become responsible to directly pay for street repairs and cleaning in addition to our normal property taxes.

Statistically Dallas has an awful crime rate. I believe that in most types of crime, it is double the national average.
