That is crazy that your crime is so high.... I guess I can kinda belive it, as people want to go as far away as possible to commit their crimes, but seriously, where I live I see nothing. I don't know how familiar you are with Dallas, but I live in between Deep Ellum and Farmers Market, and I see nothing. Our car is in a parking garage with a gate, but our street front, is well, not gated. We walk out dogs and such with not much crime (well, there is a homeless lady that washes her clothes in our fountain).
